Summary
1Password 6 and older versions of 1Password 7 are no longer supported by 1Password. If you use these versions, you won’t get the latest security and feature updates.
If you have a 1Password account, any changes you make to your 1Password data using an outdated app won’t sync to your other devices.
If you’re using standalone vaults, you’ll still be able to access and sync your 1Password data.

Tip
If you have a standalone vault, you’ll need to migrate to a 1Password membership to use 1Password 8.
Upgrade to 1Password 8 to make sure your 1Password account data syncs across your devices, and to get the latest security and feature updates.
If you manage employee applications, you can deploy 1Password 8 for Mac and Windows to your team members.
