Emergency Kits in 1Password Business verwalten

Learn how to change whether your team can download Emergency Kits and how it impacts you.

With 1Password Business, you can turn off Emergency Kits for your team to prevent team members from saving one. You can turn off Emergency Kits if you’re an owner, administrator, or part of a group with the Manage Settings permission.

Before you begin

  • Team members won’t be able to download an Emergency Kit after joining the team or completing account recovery.
  • Team members will still sign in with their Secret Key and account password.
  • People in the Owners, Administrators, Security, and Recovery groups can still download an Emergency Kit.

Wichtig

  • Team members will need to complete recovery using the same browser session that they began recovery with. They should not use a private or incognito browsing session. This prevents them from losing their new Secret Key.
  • Administrators should not deauthorize the device that a team member completes recovery with. This allows them to sign in successfully.

Turn off Emergency Kits

To turn off Emergency Kits for your team:

  1. Melde dich an, bei deinem Konto auf 1Password.com.
  2. Click Policies in the sidebar.
  3. Click Manage on the Authentication policy.
  4. Turn off Provide the Emergency Kit for all team members and click Save.

Unterstützung erhalten

If your team members use Safari, their account details may be cleared if they don’t sign in often. They should sign in to an additional browser and get the 1Password apps to prevent losing their account details, and to encourage them to use 1Password more often.
